Each year, Pantone reveals the color set to dominate the trends of the future. For 2019, it seems that Living Coral is poised to freshen up the fashion and beauty landscape, taken the baton from ultra-violet, which took pride of place this year.

PANTONE 16-1546 Living Coral is a sort of pinky peachy Instagram sunset sort of colour apparently based on the natural pigmentation of healthy ocean coral. It is a nurturing color that appears in our natural surroundings and at the same time, displays a lively presence within social media.
“With consumers craving human interaction and social connection, the humanising and heartening qualities displayed by the convivial Pantone Living Coral hit a responsive chord,” said Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Colour Institute.
Mostly favored as a lip color in the beauty community, the shade is also ideal for nails and cheeks.
