Dolce & Gabbana just replaced its usual parade of models with drones, which whizzed down the runway carrying the must-have AW 2018 handbags.

Milan Fashion Week AW 2018 has highlighted how last season being a human is. On Wednesday we were introduced to the Gucci Cyborg – Alessandro Michele’s muse this season was a post-human, post-identity, woke Gucci cyborg. On Thursday, Prada tapped the virtual “It girl,” Lil Miquela.
And now, Dolce & Gabbana replaced its usual parade of millennial models with drones, which whizzed down the runway carrying AW 2018 handbags.
On arrival, guests were instructed to turn off the Wi-Fi on their phones, including any personal hotspots – a seemingly impossible task for a room full of influencers made famous by the internet.
Once everyone was set up, the luxury label shocked guests as, in a single file manner, the machines showcased Dolce’s latest accessory designs.
