According to the liner notes for his AW show, Gareth Pugh said the new collection was designed “for women who accept zero bullshit.”

Models stomped down the runway wearing leopard-print jackets with inflated shoulders and a tiny belted waist, a silhouette that fell somewhere between an agile feline and a ripped superhero. Slick black demolition hammer-style gloves were straight out of a Marvel comic book.

The most interesting look was flocked plastic corsets and dresses modelled to look like the body of a sports car. However, it’s difficult to imagine how a woman might sit comfortably in some of the looks, let alone bring down the patriarchy.
