Models are taking the Instagram world by storm. From Kendall Jenner and the Hadid sisters, to Adriana Lima and Emily Ratajkowski, check out Instagram’s list of the 10 most buzzed out models from 2017 below.
1. Kendall Jenner
Following in her sister Kim’s footsteps in breaking the internet, Kendall Jenner’s photo was the most liked on Instagram for 2017, with over 4.5 million likes. The 22-year old model has also been recorded as the highest paid model for 2017.
2. Gigi Hadid
At the age of 22, Gigi Hadid has been named Glamour magazine’s “Woman of the Year“. Alongside her Glamour title Gigi has recently announced her own cosmetic collection with Maybelline, and has released her own Barbie doll in collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger.
3. Gisele Bündchen
Brazilian supermodel, and ex-Victoria’s Secret model, Gisele Bündchen is one of the world’s most successful models. Appearing in over 3,500 magazine editorials and gracing more than 2,000 magazine covers, Gisele remains one of the most buzzed about models on Instagram.
4. Bella Hadid
Following in her older sister Gigi’s footsteps, Bella Hadid is making her mark on the modelling world. 2017 has been a successful year for Bella, recently walking for Victoria’s Secret in the 2017 show in Shanghai, and making Tumblr’s list of ‘Most Popular Models’.
5. Cara Delevigne
Known for her iconic eyebrows, Cara Delevingne quickly became a household name, recently throwing a Burberry Christmas party and promising 2018 will be a “glitterier” year.
6. Hailey Baldwin
Gracing the Winter 2017/18 issue of Wonderland magazine, Hailey Baldwin uses her growing Instagram presence as an influencer, and to inspire others.
7. Adriana Lima
Brazilian model and Victoria’s Secret Angel since 1999, Adriana Lima has walked for the brand 18 times. Adriana is also a spokesperson for Maybelline cosmetics.
8. Barbara Palvin
Barbara Calvin was named the 2016 Sport Illustrated Swimsuit Issue “Rookie of the Year”, she recreated the classic ‘Basic Instinct’ Sharon Stone scene for Love magazine’s 2016 advent video and has since continued to create buzz around her name.
9. Josephine Skriver
Another Victoria’s Secret Model, Josephine Skriver is creating buzz on Instagram. This Danish bombshell has walked for some of the biggest names in fashion such as Chanel, Versace and Louis Vuitton, and has been featured in magazines such as Vanity Fair, Vogue, and Harper’s Bazaar.
10. Emily Ratajkowski
After rising to fame in Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” music video, Emily Ratajkowski has become a spokesperson for brands such as DKNY and has appeared in the 2014 and 2015 editions of Sports Illustrated swimsuit issues.
