For a decade, the ghd Pink Collection has been a cornerstone of ghd’s commitment to breast cancer awareness and support. Through its annual pink limited editions, ghd has raised awareness about breast cancer and generated over $24 million for breast cancer charities worldwide. This cause is deeply personal to ghd and its employees, reflecting their passionate dedication to making a meaningful impact. To celebrate the 10-year milestone, this year’s pink campaign goes beyond product promotion, diving deep into personal stories of resilience and hope shared by ghd employees who have been touched by breast cancer.

Five individuals from across ghd’s global team, including Janine Jennings from ghd UK & Ireland, Jennifer Lowe, a former employee from ghd US, Belen Casado from ghd Spain, Giada Belloto from ghd Italy, and Lisa Bourhy from ghd France, have bravely volunteered to share their personal experiences. Their heartfelt stories are featured in a campaign video available on the ghdANZ YouTube channel, offering a poignant look into the impact of breast cancer on individuals and their loved ones.

Check Yourself

For many women, their breasts and hair are integral to their sense of femininity and beauty. Breast cancer can profoundly affect these aspects of identity. At ghd, the mission is clear: to empower women and bolster their confidence, whether they have hair or not. This goal is at the heart of ghd’s pink campaigns, conducted in collaboration with the Breast Cancer Foundation (BCF NZ). Through these initiatives, ghd strives to inspire women to feel strong, beautiful, and supported throughout their breast cancer journey.

Breast cancer affects countless lives worldwide, and ghd remains steadfast in its commitment to raising awareness and funds for breast cancer charities through its annual pink limited edition collection. For every purchase of the ghd pink limited edition collection, ghd will donate $20 to the Breast Cancer Foundation (BCF NZ).

In collaboration with the Breast Cancer Foundation (BCF NZ), ghd is dedicated to promoting awareness about breast self-checks and their crucial role in early detection, which can save lives.

As part of its pink campaign, ghd has created a comprehensive step-by-step video guide that educates viewers on how to perform a breast self-check effectively. This initiative aims to empower individuals with the knowledge and tools needed to detect any potential signs of breast cancer early on.

By spreading awareness and providing educational resources, ghd and BCF NZ strive to encourage regular self-checks among women, ensuring they are informed about their breast health and equipped to take proactive steps towards early diagnosis and treatment.
