Fashion Fungi is a short film by groundbreaking designer Stella McCartney. Here, Mycologist and #EntangledLife author Merlin Sheldrake on why fungi are the future of fashion – and our planet. Timelapse mushroom imagery is from Fantastic Fungi by Louie Schwartzberg, with music composed by Cosmo Sheldrake using bioelectric sounds from plants and fungi, along with subterranean hydrophone recordings of plant roots, the stridulation of soil-based insects and noises from earthenware.
