As New Yorkers adjust to a ban on single-use plastic bags, aNYbag is turning them into luxury totes. The state joins a growing movement to eliminate at least some of the 1 trillion plastic bags used worldwide every year.
“The aNYbag is created by weaving 95 repurposed and upcycled plastic bags that were on their way to pollute our landfills and waterways,” the company claims on its website.
