Do What Moves You is calling on Aucklanders to join the party, turn up the music and take to the streets in a celebration of self-expression. The Last Fashion Bible was in attendance at the launch party last night at Talulah’s Bar — the Mojitos were delicious, the music was pumping and the crowd was transported to a Caribbean paradise. Outside, the tuk-tuk rides (the Bacardi Mojito Motos) are an experience you won’t want to miss!
We were lucky enough to be the first to take to the streets; zipping around Britomart in a peddle-powered tuk-tuk with music blasting is something everyone should experience. The best part? Its free, so anyone over 18 can give it a whirl! All you have to do is:
- Head to a Bacardi Mojito Moto stop or partner bar
- Take a ticket
- Wait for a Bacardi Mojito Moto
- Jump in and enjoy the ride!
For a few days in both November and December, a fleet of eight Bacardi Mojito Motos will hit the streets of Auckland, giving you a head start on the summer fun to come, by evoking thoughts of long summer Caribbean nights full of music, merriment and movement.
Participants are moving to the sound of a Caribbean beat, the colourful tuk-tuks moving them to Auckland’s nighttime hotspots. There, the blend of beats, boogie and Bacardi-based cocktails will ensure you and your crew call the summer in with style – plus, opportunities to win Bacardi prizes — be sure to keep an eye out too for a few surprises along the way, too.
