Resilient, self-confident, unapologetic, generous and humble, Céline Dion is the ultimate symbol of female empowerment and a true woman of worth. And with her long-standing Las Vegas residency coming to an end this June, the iconic chanteuse is starting a new chapter.

The singer is well-known for her strong sartorial style, emerging as a fashion icon in recent years with the help of Law Roach, the stylist behind Zendaya, Ariana Grande, Ruby Rose, and Skai Jackson. Her love of couture is well documented, both on and off the runway, and she has created a line of gender-neutral children’s clothes, Celinenununu.

Now, at 51, she has landed her first-ever beauty contract with L’Oréal Paris. Her first campaign with the brand was a television ad for Excellence Hair Color which debuted April 22.

“I want everyone to feel that they have the right to express themselves,” Dion said of her new brand ambassador role in a press release. “Whether it is through fashion and beauty, by using their voice or through something else that’s important to them… I truly admire what L’Oréal Paris stands for and I’m excited to use my voice to empower everyone to feel beautiful, confident and to learn to embrace themselves.”

Dion is the latest ambassador to join the ranks of such trailblazing women like Julianne Moore, Jane Fonda, and Eva Longoria.

L’Oréal Paris Global Brand President Pierre-Emmanuel Angeloglou believes Dion embodies the brand’s ‘Because I’m Worth It’ motto.

As Dion continues to not only further cement her status as a beauty and fashion icon and social media sensation, she is also set to release a new, highly anticipated album later this year.
