NZFW stalwarts, Stolen Girlfriends Club, presented their latest collection, New Sincerity/Deep Irony, with a cast of 40 models that included art students and musicians.

“Diversity is a bit of a ‘trend’ word at the moment, but this book really touches on this and I really wanted touch on diversity with the casting,” said creative director, Marc Moore.

The collection is inspired by the book The Others by Derek Ridgers who photographed the club-kids around London in the eighties.

We caught up with Moore backstage before the show to talk androgyny, rebellion and aligning with Crocs. Plus, he shares his success tips with aspiring designers.
