Miuccia Prada loves an excuse to throw Miu Miu back to the ’50s and ’60s, but this time she said she was less interested in explaining the theoretical whys and wherefores than in portraying “personalities, different people, and to be diverse, not just in terms of race, but of being big or little.”

This was also a rousing round of whoops and cheers led by Marc Jacobs and Gwendoline Christie as Elle Fanning made her catwalk debut – opening, no less.
