Do you have what it takes to be New Zealand’s next top designer? If so, TVNZ 2 wants you to apply for a place in Project Runway New Zealand.

Project Runway New Zealand

It’s awesome to see New Zealand capitalise on the fashion scene in NZ today but also, open up opportunities for all the talent brewing there. Its a massive chance for all creative designers to get onboard and show the world of what amazing talent a small country can produce. I advise all my fellow designer friends, mostly to my Pacific Islander Fashion Designers & aspiring designers to give a crack & reap the chance to showcase your creativity & innovation. . . . . #YungTheLabel #YUNG #Yungmens #ProjectRunwayNZ #TVNZ #DiscussionMaking #PolynesianFashion #PolyMovement #FashionDesigners #FashionWorld #AucklandNewZealand #Fashion #FashionLife #LoveYourPassion #EmergingFashionDesigner #NewZealandFashion

TVNZ 2 is looking for men and women of all ages from across New Zealand, who are over 18 and available for filming during April and May.

The application process requires aspiring designers to upload a video that explains “who they are as a designer” and why they think they can be the next big thing in New Zealand fashion.

In the first local version of the hit US series, passionate Kiwi designers will compete against each other in front of a panel of as yet unnamed industry judges. The show will go to air later this year.

Hosted by Heidi Klum, Project Runway has been a ratings hit overseas, running for 16 seasons on American screens. Twenty-six other versions have been made around the world, but this will be the first time it has been adapted for the NZ market.
