On Wednesday, Instagram released its annual list of the top 10 models with the most followers. This ranking is based on stats from January 1 through mid-November.
Kendall Jenner blew everyone else out of the water with more than 83 million followers. (Not too coincidentally, she’s also the highest paid model this year.) Biggest Insta following wasn’t the only accolade carried off by Kendall this year. She was also the model with the most liked photo this year: a pic of her rocking a sheer white crop-top over a gingham bikini that garnered more than 4.5 million likes. (She did not have the platform’s most-liked pic overall, which was owned by Beyoncé.)
Kendall also took home the title of “most buzzed about model” which Instagram defined as having the most tags or mentions by name in comments and captions, and those who gained the most followers in 2017. Gigi took second in both categories, while Gisele and Bella were third place, respectively.
In fact, the only list Kendall didn’t top (or even make) was most Stories views, which Bella won. But that’s probably because Kendall’s already busy streaming the ups and downs of her daily life on Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
