Dyson has launched a limited-edition colourway, the Ceramic Apricot and Topaz Collection, across its Beauty hair care range. The pretty palette draws on the science of the summer solstice, giving never-ending summer vibes every time you style your hair.

Each device in the range features a soft-touch ceramic finish alongside contrasting vibrant tones. The colourway is available across three popular devices: the Dyson Airwrap Co-anda 2x™ Multi-Styler and Dryer, the Dyson Airstrait™ Dryer and Straightener and the Dyson Supersonic Nural™ Hair Dryer.

According to Amelia Ayerst, Dyson CMF Design Manager, Dyson’s CMF (Colours, Materials and Finishes) team studied shifts in daylight intensity, temperature and the colour spectrum across the longest day of the year to develop pigments that reflect the visible light found at sunrise, noon and sunset.

‘Researching the solstice, we were inspired by mapping out shifts in daylight intensity, temperature, and the colour spectrum,” says Ayerst. “Using this data, we blended pigments that mimic the higher wavelengths of visible light found at sunrise, noon and sunset: warm apricots, bold oranges and playful pinks. The result – a palette that radiates liberation, energy and celebration – bringing the outdoors in and representing the high-energy vibrancy of the sun.”

The result is a combination of warm apricots, bold oranges and soft pinks, finished with a smooth ceramic texture and shimmering metallic accents.

Dyson Airwrap Co-anda 2x™ multi-styler and dryer (Ceramic apricot/Topaz)

Dyson Airwrap Co-anda 2x™ Multi-Styler and Dryer

The Dyson Airwrap Co-anda 2x™ is powered by the Hyperdymium™ 2 motor, Dyson’s fastest and most powerful hair care motor. It delivers twice the air pressure of its predecessor for faster drying and easier wrapping.

The device offers six styling functions in one: dry, curl, wave, straighten, smooth and volumise. All functions use airflow rather than direct heat contact, which helps to prevent heat damage. $1,049 NZD.

Dyson Airstrait™ Dryer and Straightener

The Dyson Airstrait™ straightens hair from wet to dry using airflow only, with no heated plates. This approach helps prevent both heat and mechanical damage during styling.

The device is compatible with multiple hair types and produces naturally straight results while retaining body and movement. It is suited to those looking to reduce heat exposure as part of their regular styling routine. $799 NZD.

Dyson Supersonic Nural™ Hair Dryer

The Dyson Supersonic Nural™ uses Nural™ sensor technology to measure the distance between the device and the scalp in real time. This allows it to maintain a consistent temperature throughout the drying process, protecting scalp health and supporting hair’s natural shine.

The dryer also features attachment-learning technology that stores the last setting used for each attachment. This removes the need to manually reset preferences between uses. $799 NZD.

Dyson’s Formulations Range

Dyson’s hair care products are designed to be used alongside its hair care devices. The Dyson Omega™ nourishing range, powered by the Dyson Oli7™ blend, provides nourishment and protection against UV and heat damage. The Dyson Chitosan™ styling range uses chitosan, a complex macromolecule derived from oyster mushrooms, to deliver flexible hold across all hair types.

New to the range is the Dyson Amino™ leave-in scalp bubble treatment. Powered by the Dyson Amino11™ blend, it is formulated to protect, hydrate and strengthen all scalp and hair types, with a focus on long-term resilience.

The Ceramic Apricot and Topaz collection is available now from Dyson Stores and dyson.co.nz.
