The glamorous French city takes its turn to host fashion week, and we are here for the best of Paris Fashion Week Street Style AW 2022. With shows like Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Balenciaga, the final interaction of fashion month is famed for hosting some of the world’s most stylish runways, but it also hosts some of the most significant street style moments of any of the fashion capitals each season.
Long coats, tailored trousers, and a rainbow of bright colours flooded the streets of the French capital. This week’s winning hue was a vibrant green, which first appeared in Daniel Lee’s final Bottega Veneta collection. It can now be found on slacks, sunglasses, suits, and, of course, handbags. Leather trousers in pink, brown, and black were among the most popular outfits, which were mostly paired with strappy shirts, oversized blazers, and sweaters. Colour palettes featured a lot of black and white, but with pops of vivid colours like orange (a popular hue from Milan Fashion Week’s street style), blue, and yellow in between.
Cut-out pants, dresses, shirts, and skirts were visible everywhere — no matter how cold the day was. However, many attendees combated the chilly temperatures with chunky knits, faux fur, trench coats, leather jackets, and structured blazers. Sculptural bags in bright and neutral colours were also popular, with many people mixing in a new hue to create a more complicated and fascinating design.
We might be saying au revoir to fashion month, but we will certainly be saying bonjour to some of the trends and looks seen on the editors, buyers, models and street style stars who descended on the city.
Photographer Nick Leuze was on the scene to catch the best looks from the fashion flock who take street style to the next level.
