The unique collaboration between Sarah Jessica Parker (SJP) and the innovative Kiwi winery, Invivo & Co, is proving to be a successful partnership.
Back in September, SJP and Invivo & Co launched their new sauvignon blanc, “Invivo x Sarah Jessica Parker,” which is now available in New Zealand.
SJP has been involved in each step of building the brand, from the label design to the final blending session sign off with the Invivo team. The actor has even taken a seat on the board of the company.
The wine was an instant hit, seeing Invivo sell 350,000 bottles globally, which was their allocation for annual sales.
It has already scooped a number of international awards, such as a gold medal at the New Zealand International Wine Show, “Double Gold” at the 2019 China Wine & Spirit Awards, as well as being awarded “Gold and 95 Points” at the New World Wine Awards.
Sam Kim from Wine Orbi also gave the wine a 95-point rating, saying the “palate delivers excellent concentration and weight, wonderfully complemented by fine texture and brilliant focus. It is deliciously expressed and textually delightful, making it hugely appealing.”
The wine was also announced as a Top 50 Gold medal winner in the 2019 New World Wine Awards, with Chair of Judges Jim Harré saying the win is an accolade wine-lovers can trust.
“Our judges loved this well-crafted wine, which is full of ripe peach and lemon zest aromas and tastes of mango and passionfruit,” said Jim Harré . “It is mouth-filling and ends with a dry but crunchy herb note. Delicious.”
Invivo X Sarah Jessica Parker wine is available in New World and other good liquor outlets, with limited quantities available. Always drink responsibly.
