Husband and wife team, Sam and Ed Baker formed Pared Eyewear in 2011 based on Sam’s dream to create something new and different in the marketplace.

The fashion eyewear brand’s name began as a reference to a pair of sunglasses and has evolved into meaning “things are better as a pair” as they organically started working on collaborations. Now, collabs are a core part of the brand, having worked across fashion (Bec and Bridge, Staerk and Christensen), music (Client Liason) and jewellery (Holly Ryan).

We spoke to Ed during MBFWA about their collabs, design inspiration and exciting future projects.
