Jessica Bridal Couture celebrated the opening of their new Auckland showroom with a prestigious red carpet event over the weekend, hosted by Donna Balasoglou and produced by Bintang Models & Management.

Champagne and canapés greeted us on arrival and we were guided to our seats where decadent goody bags awaited us. Jessica Wu, the founder of Jessica Bridal Couture, opened the show with a heartfelt speech, drawing the audience’s attention to the brand’s promise they offer to every bride-to-be: finding the perfect dress. “Our objective is to guide the bride in finding the dress that will make her heart happy and compliment her beauty,” said Wu.

Then the show began. Perfectly fitting bridal couture floated down the runway, each gown more intricate and beautiful than the next. Grooms were also represented in formal wear sponsored by Rembrandt. Our favourite? The stunning gown that twinkled with subtle gold detailing, complete with a luxurious train.

The event closed with appreciative applause from the audience as Wu led her team out to take a well-deserved bow.

Sponsors included MEO, Lanreé Aesthetics, Living Nature, StudioC, FaceME Makeup, Exquisite Laser Clinic, Link Pharmacy, Rose Venom, NZ Blue Water and Mark Becketts.

Visit the Jessica Bridal Couture showroom at 255 Broadway, Newmarket, Auckland and their website for the full collection of imported and New Zealand couture gowns.
