Bordering on eccentric, this bold and colourful collection clearly draws inspiration from Leonardo Di Vinci’s, Mona Lisa. The green prints featuring Mona almost pay homage to the American dollar; if the clothes were a bank note, Mona Lisa is the face of Milan’s currency.
Decadent in detail, trains of golden yellow, sky blue and banknote green flow from the models, capturing the imagination to where they may lead. Head scarves, oversized hats and embellished fabrics embody luxury while the collection still maintains the vital necessity of practicality.
All in all Julia Milan's collection is the most up-to-date and wearable collection of the selection of shows at The Fashion Festival, Bali.
